Hi! My name is Josh Aubol. Previously, I have had the pleasure of serving CWDR as a staff member, first as Recreation Coordinator and then as Youth Transition Coordinator. I am thrilled to now be able to help serve the organization in a new capacity as a Board Member. In addition to working with the disability community while at CWDR, I have also worked as a caregiver and with a variety of education nonprofits seeking to create more equitable and accessible educational opportunities for all individuals. Currently, I teach at Central Washington University as a Lecturer in English and the Humanities. In that role, I serve as departmental liaison for CWU’s College in the High School program, which helps provide high school students across Washington State with access to college-level dual enrollment courses. I also coach high school cross country at Ellensburg High School, and have recently started helping with Ellensburg’s Special Olympics cycling team, the Hot Wheels.
