Board Member

Reg is an Assistive Technology Specialist in the Yakima office of Services for the Blind.

In work he loves troubleshooting system issues and keeping up with the latest advancements in technology to learn how they can best be applied to serving participants. He has always had an interest in how technology can assist our customers to work and play smarter.

Born in Brazil and totally blind since birth, he lived for most of his life in the Midwest, attending Kansas State School for the Blind and learning Braille.

After working for Gateway computers and Freedom Scientific, he found his true calling as an instructor and rehabilitation engineer. He is self-taught, and has consulted nationwide on creating unique solutions for clients with sensory challenges that meet their individual needs and abilities.

Reg also loves traveling, tinkering with electronics, amateur radio and playing keyboards and singing in several bands in his spare time.
