Development of School to Work

CWDR is subcontracting with Kittitas County Public Health to develop a school-to-work program in Kittitas County.

The goal of this program is to support parents, students, and paraeducators by connecting them with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) to ensure that students with IEPs and 504 plans receive the necessary services.

Our staff will assist with the application process for DDA and DVR, including hosting "paper parties" where families can complete and submit applications. Additionally, we will organize transition fairs tailored specifically for students with IEPs and 504 plans, providing them with access to valuable community resources.
